Crafted from porcelain, this bowl undergoes a meticulous double-firing process at temperatures ranging from 1200 to 1400°C. During the initial firing, controlled shrinkage occurs, a factor carefully managed in the subsequent glazing and second firing. In this stage, the glaze seamlessly melds into the bowl under intense heat, ensuring a flawless finish. This dual-firing treatment results in the bowl being stronger and more resilient than conventional porcelain, which typically undergoes only a single firing.
