During the initial firing, controlled shrinkage occurs, a factor carefully managed in the subsequent glazing and second firing. In this stage, the glaze seamlessly melds into the saucer under intense heat, ensuring a flawless finish. This dual-firing treatment results in the saucer being stronger and more resilient than conventional porcelain, which typically undergoes only a single firing. The saucer is dishwasher safe, oven safe, and microwave safe.
