The Chiba Vegetable Slicer (Manual Tsumakirikun) is a razor-sharp manual garnish cutting machine that creates strings and spirals of vegetables with ease by turning the handle. It’s ideal for making salads, dried daikon, namasu, potato baskets, and more. To use it, simply secure a vegetable, like radish, against the spikes and the opposite end. Then, start spinning the handle while pushing the button at the top. This slicer can accommodate vegetables with a maximum diameter of 130 mm and a maximum length of 150 mm. It comes with a blade bench featuring a 1.0 mm comb blade and a 2.5 mm comb blade, along with a spare flat blade and a thickness adjustment sheet.
