The San Jamar Shorty Saf-T-Ice® Tote is specifically designed to safeguard ice from dangerous contamination during transport. These dedicated ice totes feature an integrated comfort handle with raised Tri-grips™ to prevent hand contamination and ensure easy and safe pouring at any level. The patented HACCP Hanger™ attaches to ice machines, facilitating faster and more efficient filling of ice totes while reducing back strain by bringing the tote up to waist level during filling and keeping the bottom surface clean by raising the tote off the ground. For additional ice security and protection, the optional Saf-T-Ice® Tote Snap-Tight Lid (SI6500) is available. The integrated Handi-Hook™ allows the tote to be hung upside down for easy drying and sanitary storage. Compared to the 6-gallon Original Saf-T-Ice Tote, this 5-gallon Shorty model is designed for lighter carrying and easier cleaning in the dishwasher.
