This prevents crown formation and bubbling, resulting in a fine, tight crumb perfect for slicing, with trapped steam aiding in forming a classic, tasty crust. The pan is ideal for pain de mie, a soft white or brown bread meant for slicing and resembling regular sandwich bread. Crafted from quality Exopan fine steel, it merges tinplate cooking quality with the convenience of a non-stick surface. Cleaning is simple—just wipe the mold inside and out by hand. It withstands temperatures from -20 to 450°F (-28.9 to 232.2°C), offering durability for heavy-duty use, ideal for yielding a high number of slices and designed to last.
