The Giesser Prime Line Kitchen Knife With Plastic Handle features a blade with medium tip that is made from high grade chrome molybdenum steel, and is hardened to 56 Rockwell hardness grade (+/- 1 grade). The very fine blade surface improves the rust resistance and allows the blade to slide easily through the cutting material. This knife is universally applicable. Another special feature of this knife is the 2-component handle. The inner solid red core is gives the handle stability, while the outer layer is made from particularly soft plastic. This ensures fatigue-free and very slip-resistant work, and the handle would always fit well in the hand. The plastic handle is safe for food contact. Although the knife is dishwasher-proof, manual cleaning is recommended to protect the cutting edge.
