The Giesser BestCut Carving Knife features a specially hardened blade with a hand-sharpened edge, making it perfect for filleting and carving tasks. It boasts a blade crafted from a single piece of steel, enriched with a high carbon content (X55) for exceptional durability of the cutting edge. The blade undergoes meticulous polishing and grinding to ensure that nothing sticks to its surface during use. It is further hardened in a vacuum to achieve a hardness rating of 56-57 HRC, enhancing its overall strength. The final sanding and honing is done by the hand of a master craftsman and guarantees effortless cutting. The knife's silky soft handle fits particularly well and securely in the hand. The handles are firmly connected together with 3 stainless steel rivets. The material is particularly durable and can even withstand temperatures of up to 200°C (for short-time contact). As an indication of quality, each blade is labelled with an individual and sequential number.
