The Giesser Salmon Knife With Scalloped Blade And POM Handle is made from high quality chrome molybdenum steel, X50CrMo14, that is very rust resistant thanks to its special hardening in the vacuum process and the blade remains sharp for a very long time. The blade is sanded and polished on special machines multiple times. The cutting edge and the cutting angle are tailored optimally to the needs of professional users. Honing is done by hand at the end of production to ensure perfect sharpness. The knife's classic shape fits well in any hand and supports effortless cutting and work. The scalloped edge of the knife ensures smoother incisions, allowing the blade to glide through each cut with reduced friction. This not only facilitates fatigue-free work but also helps in protecting the cutting edge. Made of Polyoxymethylene, a particularly dimensionally stable and resistant plastic, the three-fold riveted plastic handle is suitable for contact with food and it offers a secure grip for all professional kitchen work. While the knife is dishwasher-safe, manual cleaning is recommended to protect the cutting edge.
