The Giesser Bread Knife With Serrated Edge boasts a forged blade made from high quality chrome molybdenum steel, X50CrMo14, that is very rust resistant thanks to its special hardening in the vacuum process and the blade remains sharp for a very long time. All blades are sanded and polished on special machines multiple times. The cutting edge and the cutting angle are tailored optimally to the needs of professional users. Honing is done by hand at the end of production to ensure perfect sharpness. With a classic shape, the knife fits well in any hand and supports effortless cutting and work. The regularly grinded waves along the cutting edge allow the knife to slide through hard hides and crusts securely and without slipping. The wave distance (from tip to tip) is 6 mm. The ergonomically shaped handle has a velvety-soft finish and high grip stability to ensure perfect handling in professional conditions. Specially developed for the high requirements of the food processing industry, its plastic is very sturdy and resistant to temperatures of up to 240 °C (short-term contact). As an indication of quality, each blade is labelled with an individual and sequential number.
