The Giesser Bread Knife With Classic Blade And POM Handle boasts a blade made from high grade chrome molybdenum steel, hardened in vacuum process to 56 - 57 Rockwell hardness grade. The matt-polished cutting edge offers optimum rust resistance. Made of polyoxymethylene (POM), a particularly dimensionally stable and resistant plastic, the three-fold riveted plastic handle offers a secure grip for all professional kitchen work. The handle is suitable for contact with food. While the knife is dishwasher-safe, manual cleaning is recommended to protect the cutting edge.
