The Besser Vacuum 90 Micron Smooth Bags are made of polyamide and polyethylene (PA/PE), ensuring excellent impermeability to oxygen and water vapour. Specifically designed for use with chamber vacuum packaging machines, these bags are great for preserving food, including liquids. Through the air extraction process and hence the complete absence of oxygen within the pouch, the proliferation of bacteria is highly limited. This results in an extension of the shelf life of vacuumed food, up to double or even three times longer than standard packaging. It's important to note that this preservation benefit primarily applies to fresh food and may not be as effective after food has been exposed to open-air contamination. The bags are BPA-free, have a temperature range of use between -40°C and +40°C, and are conveniently available in packs of 100, with 8 packs per carton.
