The Atlantic Chef Chef's Knife features a handle made from a combination of Santoprene for a non-slip, comfortable grip, and polypropylene for tough use. The blade is made from German steel 1.4116, which consists of carbon, chromium, vanadium, molybdenum, and other elements. Through hardening, tempering, grinding, and sharpening, it attains a hardness of at least HRC 56. The hand-honed, razor-sharp edge ensures long-lasting sharpness, excellent edge retention, easy maintenance, and quick re-sharpening. Great for dicing onions, mincing herbs, or slicing vegetables, the broad, curved blade of the chef's knife allows for a rocking motion when choPolypropyleneing.
